Tartans have more than 2000 years of history and are of European heritage, but the popular pattern as we know today came from Scotland when King George IV visited Edinburgh in 1822. Since then, many named tartan patterns emerges from different clans, ethnic groups or even advertising campaigns and can be seen on anything from formal dresses to book covers. They, along with the checkered plaid pattern, are the most versatile designs I am using to create a new line of gadget accessories for every needs.
